Incorporating characters, story elements and the central themes from both of Carroll’s books, Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” features a new adventure as 19-year-old Alice returns to Wonderland for the first time since she was a child with no memory of her previous adventures there. Director Tim Burton decided to shoot the film in 2D and convert it later to 3D. Burton was so impressed with the results of the conversion of his film “The Nightmare Before Christmas” to 3D, he opted to go a similar route for “Alice.” The film uses acombination of live action, animation and a host of other effects techniques, including motion capture technology. Alice in Wonderland is released across the UK on March the 5, 2010 on 2D, Disney Digital 3D and IMAX® 3D screens. The DVD will be available to own March 30, 2010. "Alice in Wonderland" was originally produced in 1931 and remade in 1950 and 1951. Watch and download for free the original 1931 version of "Alice in Wonderland."
