Cyber Weekend 2012 ad deals

Cyber Weekend launches the busiest shopping dates of the year- Mobile Thursday through Cyber Monday. It has also become one of the most confused sales gimmicks.

The day after Thanksgiving- Black Friday- traditionally started the holiday shopping season. But with anxious online retailers, the official start of the online shopping season keeps moving up.

With names like Mobile Thursday, Midnight Black Friday and Green Monday, these shopping days span a long weekend of continuous deals. A common name for all online shopping this weekend is called Cyber Weekend.

Black Friday has been the domain of the storefront for decades, like Macy's, WalMart and Target. Now, Black Friday has also become a prominent discount day on the Internet under a range of labels.

Cyber Monday was the start of the Internet holiday shopping season. But, now it starts with an early Mobile Thursday.

Combining both web shopping "holidays" into a full weekend becomes CyberWeekend. This includes a Cyber Saturday and Cyber SundayThis includes sales for a full weekend of shopping deals online.

Some retailers now start their After Thanksgiving sale at midnight the next day. This is the new Black Friday at Midnight.

Cyber Weekend 2012 Sales Dates

Online retailers will be offering great discounts this holiday season to lure more shoppers into their stores. The slow economy, and full inventories, will be a benefit to the consumer looking for bargains and discount deals.

If a coupon, or promo code, can be used for several days, it is noted in the ad. Black Friday (also called Cyber Friday) and Cyber Monday deals for 2012 will be listed as soon as they become available to us.

This Cyber Weekend 2012 will have some great savings since most online prices are the same or less than non-online merchandise as advertised for Black Friday. Find more free shipping deals, online coupons and promotional codes to further discount pricing.

Economic Crisis Forcing Shoppers to Use the Internet

With the economy faltering, shoppers will turn to new websites even more, according to Internet shopping experts.

According to the Wall Street Journal last week, "Analysts are predicting sharper price cuts on flat-panel televisions and Blu-ray players in the coming weeks." Such consumer product price volatility can cause buyers to hesitate. Because prices are always changing, savvy consumers need more than just a snapshot of prices at any given moment, as delivered by shopping portals and retail websites. Continue reading...

Online Consumers Plan to Spend Less in Stores, But Slightly More Online This Holiday Season

Online consumers intend to spend less in stores this holiday season than last year, The Conference Board and TNS report, but slightly more online. Consumers will be expecting free shipping and deals not available in stores when they shop online.

"Given the current economic environment, it is no surprise that consumers are reigning in their spending and seeking bargains," says Lynn Franco, Director of The Conference Board Consumer Research Center. "Free shipping, exclusive online deals, coupons and discounts are among the incentives consumers will be expecting this season." Bargain hunting will remain the driving force behind online sales, the report notes. Continue reading about 2008 holiday shopping predictions.
