The Walmart web site offers free shipping and Site-to-Store delivery on thousands of items within the U.S. and dozens of countries around the world. Link directlty to Walmart USA at the Walmart.com online shopping site.

Walmart Stores, the world's largest retailer, has expanded its online presence in the U.S., U.K., Japan, Canada, China and India. Now, residents from those countries can shop online.

Walmart has no shipping costs on thousands of items, including electronics, thousands of select video games, toys, home appliances, furniture, jewelry, baby items and more.

Eligible items are shipped for free via standard shipping and delivered to customers’ doors within 3 – 5 business days after the order is processed.

Some Walmart stores in the USA now have same-day pick-up using the Walmart "Pick Up Today" option on their web site.

Walmart.com has a new payment method that allows customers to order online, and pay with cash at Walmart stores within 48 hours.

  • Choose "Cash" as your payment method at check out.
  • Print or write down your order number.
  • Pay with cash at your local Walmart store within 48 hours. Show your order number at any Walmart store register.
  • Your order will be shipped to your home or "site to store." A text or email is sent when it's ready for pick up.

Walmart resumes online movie sales

The movie streaming service, Vudu, recently purchased by Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. signals that the retail giant will again be selling online movies. Wal-Mart USA launched a movie download service in 2007, but canceled less than a year later.

Cheap DVD rentals have been the norm with rival Netflix, Amazon.com's video-on-demand and Coinstar's Redbox in the market. For Wal-Mart, having an online presence in the movie rental field will maintain its sales.

Walmart MP3 Music Downloads

Walmart announced the launch of "DRM-free" MP3 music downloads, now available online. At only 94 cents per track and $9.22 per album, the new MP3 digital format delivers value, convenience and the ability for customers to play music on nearly any device, including iPod (R), iPhone( R) and Zune (TM) portable media players.

Newly designed aisles and brand areas aim to simplify shopping experience

Walmart has added more new products and features to its consumer electronics area across its 3,500 stores. This week, market electronics managers and associates are preparing aisles, adding new signage and bringing out displays for new technologies to help keep customers staying connected, more mobile and enjoying new home entertainment experiences.
